His words have no meaning. We know who he is. We witnessed the racist birtherism. We witnessed the dog-whistling to white supremacists during the campaign. Hell, Joan Walsh called it not a dogwhistle but a foghorn. We saw him blame all of their problems on Muslim's, Mexicans, and blacks. Steve Bannon, the man hired to run the Trump campaign and then be his senior advisor created "the platform" for white supremacists on Breitbart, and BRAGGED about it. "THE platform". His words. He is proud of that accomplishment. He has white nationalist Stephen Miller and proud fascist Sebastian Gorka in his inner circle, and appointed racist Jeffery Beauregard Sessions III as AG, whose first significant act was to decide we aren't locking up enough black people for long enough periods of time for minor drug charges. Right out of the gate, Trump created the voter suppression commission for the purpose of finding still more excuses and methods for suppressing the black vote.
This is who our President is. Any words he says now are meaningless. In fact all of his words, in any context are meaningless. He has not a shred of credibility. He just blurts out anything that suits him at any given time without regard for truth, fact, evidence--and without any underlying moral or ethical or even idealogical basis.
We no longer live in a country where the words of our President have meaning.
Ain't that a stinker.
